Well, let's just say that it was a GOOD week in gospel! Sooo many truimphs and celebratory moments - okay, let's start with the Grammy's on Saturday night! Congrats to Heather Headley, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin, Third Day, Jason Crabb, Israel Houghton,and the artists on Oh Happy Day - congrats to everyone that took home a Grammy.



Okay, moving on to BET Honors - many of us have replayed Kim Burrell's performance over and over again on Youtube - lol. It was a dynamic tribute to Whitney Houston and THE BEST performance of the night! Kim not only looked great, but her voice was amazing. Go Kim! If you missed it, you can watch it here.


Coko and the SWV crew hung out with Monique on the Monique show. There's no doubt - Coko has one of the best voices around. Her range is absolutely amazing.

Be on the lookout on February 12th for the premiere of We Are The World vide. Some of the biggest names in gospel came together to re-record this song, including Mary Mary! You can see some of the background footage from the video below.

Do you remember when Y'Anna Crawley won the title of Sunday Best in 2009?

We are still excited about the song that she performed during the finale show THE PROMISE.

Hosted by comedian and actor Steve Harvey, CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL will be taped at the famed Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday, December 12 and will air on Sunday, January 10, 2010. With grandiose performances by gospel and mainstream artists, a 24-piece orchestra led by world-renowned musical director Ray Chew and the most engaging comedian around, CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL is sure to get viewers on their feet.
