When a president approves; what God calls an abomination, approving homosexuality and Lesbianism even inviting a Lesbian to the white house to praise her for her stand for suing her school because she wasn't allowed to take her Lesbian lover to the senior prom. And when the president says"It will be an admirable day, When men marry men and women marry women...How can we as Christians honor someone who dishonors God. -
Grieved and ashamed,
Mike

In fact God has not been allowed in western culture church in years, why? Because it is consumed with self which consequently is the reason that He will deal with us first before dealing with the world. We look just like the world, only difference is we merge a few hallelujah by and by's in our talk and this dear Heather is not "true" Christianity.
Peace,

In closing abortion by far and wide is not the only "crime" america has committed against God, I dare say abortion has been around since the days of the Bible and unfortunately whether Barack passes a law against it or not the spirit behind it will still be in existence especially as long as we as a people seek to continue to try and "hide" our sins. So if it is "innocent" bloodshed that we are concerned about then understand beloved that there are many lives young and old that have been wrongly claimed.
Furthermore, Its the Saturday nights we spend in hotels that grieve God, its the cheating on our taxes that grieve God, its the going into work late and leaving early that grieves God, not to mention its the many things we allow to go on under the so-called roof of the church that grieves God...

And if we as a nation were to be judged very few including the government we supposedly uphold to Christian values would survive. Yet no one from the Christian community has made a fuss about "morals" until now.
We as a country have never been so "focused" on the perspective beliefs of past presidents especially ones that we probably should have, and now all of a sudden this man is an issue. I am not Pro-Obama I am pro-lets keep it real and if we're going to include God in on our so called criticisms based on His Word regarding our countries leaders in an attempt to find where we as a nation went wrong then let us all start with George Washington and work our way forward shall we?...

This countries woes started long before January 19, 2009. All I've heard from the Christian community regarding this man's presidency is not let's pray for him, or let's see what we can do to submit to authority whether harsh or kind according to the same Bible we read (1 Peter 2:18-20), on the contrary all I've heard is he supports abortion, when in fact more than half of America's past presidents (Bush included) were a part of some organization that God deems idolatrous and offensive to Him (Freemasonry, Skull and Bones, etc)...

Please know that you do not represent the church of Jesus Christ in your "honor" of such a man. You clearly haven't thought this one through. If you're going to honor someone, honor someone deserving of that honor, someone who actually honors God, instead of despising Him. This project is disgraceful to say the least.
Disappointed,
Heather
